It seems like at the end of every year, there's a period of reflection. 2017 was no different for me as I took the opportunity to see what the top 10 most popular posts were on my blog. Overall, there's a huge variety of posts, but then again, that's what I share with you all, so I suppose it's not all that surprising. So without further adieu, here are the top 10 posts of 2017!
This was one of my favorite posts of the year because it pushed me a little bit out of my comfort zone. I'm not a fashion blogger, but I do love clothes, and it was fun to see what I could come up with from my own closet using just one piece of clothing as inspiration.
Planning a party is so much easier when you have a theme. My daughter wanted to invite boys and girls to her party so I had to come up with something that would entertain everyone. My favorite part of the party was the fun food I got to make!
My thought behind putting this post together was to have a "one stop shop" for all things Valentines (hence, the name). You'll find kid activities, printables, date ideas, food, makeup and beauty and so much more in this post! Definitely check it out or pin it for later because Valentine's Day will be here before you know it. *wink*
I love Disney movies and Moana touched my heart. Maybe it's because I'm a mother now, but I noticed so many lessons in this movie that came from Moana's mother and I wanted to share them here.
At the beginning of 2017, I experience my third miscarriage. Up until that point, I hadn't really talked with many people about it. But something inside me knew that it was time to share my story in the hopes that it would help other women know that they are not alone.
This necklace holder is one of my favorite DIYs because it's both pretty and practical. It was fun to personalize it by using different knobs and it was so easy to make!
This was my top craft/DIY for the year and it actually appeared in the post I shared last week alongside over 30 other craft bloggers and their top posts for 2017. It was my first time making string art and I can definitely see why it's addicting!
This 3-ingredient dessert is perfect when you don't have a lot of time (or ingredients) to make something sweet for a party or get together. Besides using only 3 ingredients, one of the best things about it is that it's so versatile! Don't have raspberries? Use blueberries! Don't have white or yellow cake mix? Use chocolate!
My family loves hiking. We are surrounded by mountains here in Utah and there are so many hiking trails to choose from. But if you are nervous about taking your kids, or just don't know where to start, this is a great guide to help everything run more smoothly.
And the #1 post from 2017 is....
Did you know you can take food into Disney parks? It's true! You can save a ton of money bringing your own food in so you can spend it in other areas. This is a HUGE list of food you can bring into the park (and I'm still adding to it!). If you're going to Disneyland or any of the other Disney parks, be sure to pin this post because I promise it will come in handy.
Did your favorite posts make the list? If not, I'd love to hear what yours are!

My husband, Covey, and I met on a blind date and were married on May 3, 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since then, we've both graduated with our Bachelor's Degrees and my husband has gotten his MBA. I've been at home with our kids since the oldest was born and while I miss work some days, I know that for me, nothing really compares to being at home with them. Our kids are 2 and 4 and we are hoping to have more in the future. They bring so much joy into our lives. We enjoy being outside together and soaking up the sunshine.
