Summer 2017 Reading List

7
Check out this diverse list of books to reading during the summer (or any time of year)!
If you've been following my blog for a while, you know that I regularly post reviews of all types of books: children's, young adult, biography, self-help and the list goes on.  I love reading and I always tend to read more books during the summertime.  Last year, I put together a summer reading list and I loved the challenge of reading new books and discovering new genres and subjects.  With summer coming up so soon, I decided to create a summer 2017 reading list.

Summer 2016 Reading List Book Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings on each of the books on my summer 2016 reading list
At the beginning of the summer, I put out a reading list with all the books I hoped to read during the summer.  I loved being exposed to new genres that I wouldn't have normally picked up, although for the most part my favorites were still the young adult fiction that I stick to.  I did stray from my reading list a bit due to my book club, otherwise, I feel sure I would have finished all the books on my list.  I've included a short review for each book along with a rating out of 5 stars.  (If you want to read more about any given book, click on the title to be taken to the Goodreads summary.)

Summer 2016 Reading List

One thing you should know about me is that I LOVE to read.  I learned how to read before starting kindergarten and I've been devouring books ever since then.  Lots of late nights and too-soon mornings because I can't seem to put a good book down.  I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I am part of a book club.  It is so much fun for me to read books and discuss them.  I even considered getting a degree in English when I went to college.
