I love Disney movies. They make me laugh. They make me cry. And I have no problem admitting that I still watch them by myself sometimes at night. So when I saw this month's prompt for Movie Club Monday was for Disney movies, I was so excited! Then I felt a little bummed because I was having a hard time choosing just one movie to post about. And then I thought, why choose just one? So this month I'm sharing some of my favorite Disney movie quotes and song lyrics with you ("with you...with you...with you...with you...with you!")

$10 at Target: Back Seat Boredom Busters and Organization
When we bought our new van last fall, we moved my daughter to the back seat in preparation for when baby #3 would be joining us. She loves having the back seat all to herself and being able to color and read to her heart's content, but unfortunately, it's become a bit of a mess due to a lack of organization. I've been meaning to find something for her to store her different belongings, but it didn't happen. That is, until I went to Target last week and found some awesome stuff in the dollar spot!

Movie Club Monday: 45+ Movies Based On Books
I had the best of intentions when it came to this month's theme for Movie Club Monday, but between having a new baby and then being in the hospital for a week with her when she was two weeks old for RSV and bacterial pneumonia, I wasn't able to do what I had in mind. So that led me to plan B where I decided to poll some of my friends and find out what their favorite movies based on a book are. Being a book lover, I have a hard time when books get adapted into movie form because inevitably they will have to leave parts out and sometimes they even change significant parts of the story line. But every once in a while, you find a movie that stays pretty true to the book and it's enjoyable to sit back and watch the movie on a screen. So I've listed out over 20 books that have been adapted to film and are worth looking into.

Movie Club Monday: Leap Year and St. Patrick's Day Inspiration
As a kid, I was always fascinated by the idea of "leap year". I imagined how funny it would be to say that my birthday was on Leap Day because then when I was 16, I would have only had four "real" birthdays. (I've celebrated eight leap years myself.) So while this year may not be a leap year--the next one is in 2020--I thought it would be fun to incorporate it into this month's Movie Club Monday theme which is a romantic comedy. The movie of choice: Leap Year, of course. *wink*

$10 at Target: Spring Refresh
We've been having some very un-winter like weather the last couple of weeks, which is probably why I was so drawn to the bright spring colors and decor at the dollar spot when I went to Target this last weekend. (Although we do have a winter storm warning in effect right now, so my dreams of spring may get put on hold for a little bit longer.) I love decorating for spring and have slowly been getting rid of my old decor and transitioning to pieces that are more my current style. I love bright colors, as well as the flexibility to use different pieces over multiple seasons. I can't wait to officially start decorating for spring with these fun items. And can you believe I scored them for less than $10?

$10 @ Target: Sweets and Treats
Happy Monday! I'm in denial that we are already half way through January. Wasn't Christmas just last week...? Either way, I'm trying to enjoy the last few weeks before baby #3 joins the party. I headed over to Target this last weekend (kid-free!) and joined the throngs of women wandering walking with purpose through the aisles. (Who am I kidding? I spent 2 hours just browsing through different departments.) If you were with me last year, you know that once I month I go to Target with the goal to spend just $10 and see what I can get, so let me show you!

October In Numbers
Friends, October was one crazy busy month! Sometimes I look back on these month in numbers posts and I'm shocked at how much happens in such a short period of time. As I reflected on the month of October, I thought it would be fun to use single numbers to share just a few of the things that were a part of my month. (Plus, I share a fun announcement that you may have missed!)

$10 @ Target: 50/50 Split
$10 @ Target: Halloween, Pens and A Mousepad, Oh My!
It's been a couple of months since I shared my $10 at Target finds (since we did a giveaway last month), but I am excited to share what I found this month! When I first started co-hosting this link up, I thought that spending $10 or less at Target was going to be so hard. But you know what I've found? That there are tons of great finds at Target (and not just in the Dollar Spot) and you don't have a spend a lot to bring them home. Don't believe me? See what I found this month!

$10 at Target: Summer Fun Edition
Is it just me, or is anyone else in disbelief about how quickly summer seems to be passing by? School starts next month and with my first child going into kindergarten, I'm not sure that I'm ready for summer to be over. However, I'm trying to embrace each day as it comes and that includes coming up with fun activities, wearing bright colors and eating lots of popsicles. I took my daughter with me this last weekend when I went to Target and we found plenty that caught our eye. I am a co-host for this challenge and it's been fun to see if I can stay right around the $10 limit. Do you think you could do it? See what we got below as part of this month's edition of $10 at Target!

What To Avoid If You Want To Raise A Problem Solver
I was first introduced to Mariah a couple of months ago when I saw her post in a Facebook group about a free webinar she was doing on helping our kids become creative problem solvers. The idea intrigued me and as I listened to the call I knew I wanted Mariah to come on my blog and share her amazing insights. She does a great job of sharing real life examples and empowering parents and caregivers to teach their kids that they can be creative problem solvers. But first, there are some things we really should be avoiding if we want to raise problem solvers. I'll let her take it from here!

$10 at Target: Pretty Paper Edition
Hello and happy Monday! I hope you all enjoyed your Father's Day weekend! Our family went to a local theme park on Saturday and wore the kids out, then spent Sunday relaxing with family. Just before the weekend got started, I had a chance to visit Target all by myself and it was a lovely hour and a half. I didn't have anything specific I was looking for, but knew I could only spend $10 for this month's $10 at Target challenge. I am a co-host for this challenge along with a group of lovely ladies and it's been fun to see how close I can get to spending $10 or less at one of my favorite stores. Do you think you could do it? Let me show you what I found this month.

May In Numbers
Whoosh! Did you hear that? It was the sound of May rushing past! *wink* But seriously, I feel like I just wrote last months summary. A lot of fun things happened in May, but most of them happened in single digits.

$10 at Target: Gearing Up For Summer
Hey friends! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed Mother's Day. Today, I'm super excited to share a new series I am co-hosting called $10 at Target. It is a monthly challenge where you have to try and spend...you guessed it: only $10 at Target. Now, as we all know, Target is a wonderful lovely place where we go in for one thing and come out with 20 things way more items than we planned. *wink* So spending $10 or less can be a real challenge! Are you ready?

April In Numbers
Happy May! May has always been one of my favorite months because the weather finally (hopefully) starts becoming a little more consistent and a little warmer, which makes me a much happier person. It's also the month my husband and I got married, so I'm a little biased. *wink* But before we can get into May, I want to share my April month in numbers with you.

March In Numbers: Orlando Edition
The month of March was full of anticipation for our trip to Orlando. It felt like it took forever until it was time to leave and then the entire vacation went by way too fast! But that's pretty normal I think. Last month I participated in a February In Numbers post and shared my month that way. I had so much fun with that I decided to do the same thing for March, but kept it specific to our Orlando trip. So here's March In Numbers: Orlando Edition.

February In Numbers
Today I'm going to have a little fun and do a month in review using numbers. Normally, I'm not really a numbers person. Math is not my strong point. I took Statistics twice in college and only barely passed both times. However, I am really good at counting down to things like my birthday or vacations or calculating the discount on a cute shirt from a favorite store. *wink* So without further adieu, I give you February in Numbers.

You Know You're a Blogger When...
For as long as I can remember, I've always been interested in how people
think and why they think the way they do, which in turn causes them to
act a certain way. I find it totally fascinating. We each have different talents and abilities, likes and dislikes, interests and desires. For example, I'm really glad that there are people out there who like accounting. I hate accounting (and pretty much anything to do with math), but I am really grateful for them when tax season comes around. *wink* There are also people out there who do this crazy thing called blogging. And unless you are a blogger, you probably don't think like a blogger or even know what bloggers think about in the first place. Well my friends, you're about to find out.

Using Natural Light In Your Photography (Plus a Giveaway!)
In today's world, cameras are only an arm length away (or less!). Like many people, I keep my phone nearby during the day in order to check my texts or emails, but more than anything, I want a camera close by to capture pictures or videos of my kids. But how many times have I taken a picture thinking it's going to turn out so great, only to be disappointed because of a lighting issue? Let me tell you, the answer is a lot. And it's frustrating! But the good news is, using light to your advantage is a skill you can learn, especially with the help of a good teacher.
